Well, only extremely masochistic artists actually ask to be accused, I guess. :) Maybe you could ask Goldenwolf, as she seems to have experience with this type of pose and theme and species, and she got even the soft blue glow from the rocks you mentioned, although you probably envisioned it differently. I don't see in your head!
