Still on a roller coaster of feel ok feel holy heck bad...and trying to figure out a way to afford a doctor's appointment before AC is..interesting..mind you not that I WANT to go..who does? yey for the US healthcare system. Makes me miss Estonia.

As for other commissions, I think I may open up one more round of small commissions before AC to help pay for my expenses and a doctor visit ifn it comes to that. Will announce that soon as I finish this small round :). Thank you for your patience.

NOW for arts. I dunno why or where it came from but I wanted to paint priderock last night. I have always been fascinated with matte paintings and its something I'd love to really get into and learn. Some of those artists amaze me with their understanding of atmosphere/composition/color/light and perspective.

OH and tinkered a bit more with my Pathfinder eye piccu thing, mostly embellishing the starfield/solar eclipse in the eye.



I wanted to go for a more painted simplistic look..ie not overdetailed as I tend to do O_o

And o'course priderock. Had fun with this fun though it earned me a right nice headache and a realization that I need to study rocks and skies more O_o. I did it all one one layer because I'm not smart and worked fairly small and at a low resolution...but then I didn't think anything at all would come of it so....live and learn. PLUS I need more ram on my computer.

Oh and btw, I think your priderock thingie turned out very nice. Maybe some things could be changed (but don't aks me because I have no idea), but the sky looks very realistic. And well... practising can get you (almost) everywhere :)

Wow! Priderock turend out beautifully! I love the atmosphere! And I love the sun rays that are going through the clouds! I just miss your bg pics so much, beacause you're great with them too! :)
And the eye... *drools* on that Pathfinder piccu is so detailed and interesting! Wonderful idea!^^

Darn! Sounds like that evil cold bug hasn't left you yet. :( That's aweful that you're still feeling so bad. I sincerely hope your system is able to work it out on it's own...if not I guess going to the doc would really help. I hate going to doctors too. Only if I'm suffering big time do I bother to go...it's just too darn expensive to see one. Plus waiting 2-3 hours for a 15 min check-up hardly seems fair. >_<" You wait forever, then they rush you out! Blegh.

Okay...sorry about the complaints there! ^^" lol. I think the Pathfinders eye really stands out now! :D The image seems to "pop-out" at you more. :) Oooh wow! Tau looks LOVERLY! XD That eye is just fantaistic!

You did a very lovely job on Pride Rock too! :) Gosh...it's been too long since I've seen TLK again. I should watch it once more. The backgrounds and atmosphere they put into that movie still astounds me today. Even moreso than with most CG films. Great work! =D

I really do not know much about the US healthcare system, but I hope that you in some way can find a solution which you are comfortable with n___n;;
Fining a doctor is important, so I wish you luck with that ^^;;

No real need to apologize to me...I can understand bouts of frustrations..we all have them..and unfortunately our journal is sometimes not the best place to go first ;). That Pathfinders cover is just wonderful. I love how the furs blend into each other and that eye I could just stare at it all day :)

Tau's looks fantastic and just has to love that. You do such a awesome job on felines once I get Alan finished I'm so going to have to get you to make something of him.

Beautifullo Pride rock I love the flow of the sone and for working on one layer, may i say EGADS SUCH PATIENCE!...And I love the Tau Gifty!! The less detailed work is lovely and smooth and keeps attention on that gorgeous eye there!!! I can't stop looking at his eye!!!!

The pathfinder eye is looking more and more gorgeous! I'm amazed at the eclipse and how you managed to get it to look so very realistic. The edging around it too almost reminds me of a supernova, which in itself is fascinating.

I wish I could commission you to help you see a doctor sweets :( But alas Mark and I are struggling with funds ourselves with the AC trip. But with your talents and perseverance sweets I'm sure you'll make more then enough to get an appointment ^.^

The pride rock pic is awesome, though I disagree that your stuff is overdetailed. I think the (almost obsessive ;) ) attention to detail you put into your stuff (can we say "insane eyes" and "crazy fur"? I think we can!) really makes it stand out. I don't care to imagine the time it takes, but the results are always awesome.

The matte painted look of the pride rock pic also looks good though, even though it doesn't have the crazy detail. It almost seems to be a calming sort of effect. I see the sun breaking through at the top, but the overall feeling it gives me is that moment of calm before a really serious rainstorm. Its good stuff. :)
