SNAKES and cats and chairs? oh my!

I have actually always liked snakes..always wanted a pet snake..but never got one..which is probably best because I would want something that would grow HUGE. Ahem. Anyway. So I decided to pull out an old sketch of Balaa and do a cleaned up version of it..but I got stuck on the background so for whatever reason snakes popped into my head..and so there you have it. Snake people do not keeelll me..I haven't EVerEVER drawn snakes so its uncharted territory. But I will say I had a blast with it! Balaa is pleased, yessss. And the snakes are suppooosedd to be my pitiful attempt at anacondas.


To all those that answered my last entry with warm wishes and congrats..THANK YOU! I still feel rather undeserving. I am still rather new on the scene and there are so many other big talents out there that deserve that honor just as much, if not waaaay more than me. But, I am still grateful and humbled..and still a bit..shocked O_o..if Califur is around the same time Next year..I may get to spend my birthday at Disneyland. :D!

SNAKES!!! OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG I love snakes!!!!

I've always wanted to get an albino Corn snake (So cute!!!) At one point I had a garter snake, it had managed to sneak into our Laundrey room and our cat attacked it. We kept it and healed it and then eventually released it once the vet said he was healthy enough. I miss him..I named him billybob.

And you are so deserving of the honor of being Guest of honor at Califur....your talents and imagination are amazing. When we get to AC be prepared I will have to give you a huge congratulatory hug. ^.^

*shnooozles you* I havent the slightest idea what a shnoozle is..but I surmise it has to be a good thing and related to fluff ;). AND yey another snake fanatic..I never did understand why people were so squeemish around them..but instinctively it makes sense I suppose..just like spideres (and I will admit..spiders and I don't get along..mostly o_o)

Well then *Shnoozles in return*

I think people see snakes as inherantly evil...of course the stories throughout history have always made snakes the villain so it's mildly understandable...that and snakes just have this way of making your skin crawl. Personally I love them. They are so unique and extremely fascinating in so many ways.

Spiders however *shudder* Alas I suffer from aracnophobia...I'm more inclined to climb a wall then be roughly 30 feet from even the smallest of spiders.

Well whoever hugs whome first, there will surely be hugs indeed ^.^ And no worries about Lack of YIM. When i should be working on ar I'm seeing if anyoen is on..lol. Tivadu has been graciously putting up with my bored fascinations.
