I have actually always liked snakes..always wanted a pet snake..but never got one..which is probably best because I would want something that would grow HUGE. Ahem. Anyway. So I decided to pull out an old sketch of Balaa and do a cleaned up version of it..but I got stuck on the background so for whatever reason snakes popped into my head..and so there you have it. Snake people do not keeelll me..I haven't EVerEVER drawn snakes so its uncharted territory. But I will say I had a blast with it! Balaa is pleased, yessss. And the snakes are suppooosedd to be my pitiful attempt at anacondas.

Hey there little cat!

How goes it with you and your family? Well I hope. So you like snakes hum? Cool! You got those snakes in the background right on as far as I can tell. The intricate detailing on their heads is quite awesome. If you ever have any questions about reptiles just ask me. This is a passion of mine that I have had since I was a child. In fact right now I have a little female Rubber Boa here in my room that I have had since she was born on August 2001 when I was going to school in Eastern Washington. I live caught her mother in one of the parks not far from the college. These and Rosy Boas are the two boa species that are native to the U.S.

Both snakes are good first timer snakes they are hardy and easy to take care of. The Rubber boa reaches a max length of roughly three feet. The Rosy reaches a max of about four. They both are live bearers, meaning they produce live young. Chances are pretty good that you can find Rubber Boas around where you are. find any open area where the ground is well drained and rocky. They also like to hide under discarded trash. So if you ever feel so inclined to going on an adventure do so. Start flipping over things and moving rocks. Early in the mornings you can even see them out in the sunshine warming themselves. They look like a dark brown shiny pile of dog doo when you first see them then if you look more closely you will see that they are a little snake. Anyhow I truly rambled here! Anyhow just ask if ever you are interested in buying a snake I can tell you which ones would work best for you!

Your picture is quite awesome by the way! Just one question does she ever smile? It seems like every picture you draw of her she has a rather tough serious expression on her face. I would love to see what she would look like with a smile or grin. It still is an awesome picture though!

You do not give yourself the credit you deserve friend! You have a very awesome talent that very few in this fandom posses. You can draw in many different styles, subject matters and mediums. You do equally well with all of them. So please stop doubting yourself. These folks see what I have seen in the short time I have known you. Truth is I would say that you surpass most of the artists out there.

I hope that whatever bug has a hold on you that you can kick it soon. I hate to see my friends ill.

Anyhow have a most excellent day! Take care of yourself always friend!***Hugs, nuzzles, and hair mussing noogies to a good friend!***

aawwr..I actually didnt know you were a snake buff :D! Well then you shall have to make sure I don't shame their beauty with any mistakes ;). I will keep you to that!

Thank you for your words...you always leave me such inspiring and encouraging words..I hardly feel I deserve such praise...but I know it comes not as flattery but honesty *snugs and bats at your purple mane*

And its funny you mention she never smiles...both my mom and Bagheera pointed that out to me too. Ironically that actually suiots me perfectly. Even when I was a toddler my mom noted how I never smiled..or hardly ever...I always had a 'down to business' expression as she called it...Even photos of me as a kid and even now..I tend not to smile O_o...now when anyone tells me to smile I muster a sheepish grin but it always feels awkward. Go fig..I suppose we all have opur own quirks like that.

BUT I promise I shall attempt more pictures of her smiling :)

Take care of yourself magestic dragon of purple mane...enjoy the early sunshine we got and don't work too hard! *ligress nuzz*
