wooh tired!

woooot for 24 hour days! I actually have absolutely no recollection when I slept last :D. Well thats alright, many xmas things to do still and not nearly enough time to do them all. Also started some paintings, trying to get back into the swing of real media painting. Its been forever since I actually painted, and longer since I painted on illustration board. I completely forgot how paint acts on the boards x.x so it's taking some time getting reaquainted and trying to refresh my memory on techniques.

I do have a question and perhaps someone has an amiable answer. I am having trouble scanning larger pieces into my computer. They turn out blurry and distorted unless the picture sits flush with the glass of the scanner (and since most of my real media stuff outside sketches is bigger than an 8.5x11" sheet of paper) that is kinda tricky. I have also tried taking photos with my digital camera ut the lighting is poor in this house and outside is out since its raining. So the colors are coming out all wrong. BUT I need to have good scans of real media pieces so I can perhaps offer prints of them in the future, especially when I sell the original at a con or what have you. Is there a place I can go to get scans of my work or perhaps a good scanner someone can recommend? other ideas??!! Thanks in advance folks :).
