Sketches!

So mostly nothing that interesting as the heat has literally driven me outside and my workspace has been almost completely unbearable to be in for long. Practicing equines and learning a lot along the way about how I cement my technical knowledge. I see the flaws in most of the sketches already...but I did learn a lot doing these so that's what matters to me.

Firstly, PRETTY SKETCHES yaaaay I love horsies. X3 *nerd* And I love the complete sketch of nouveau Baggy/Balaa...it's simply gorgeous and one of my personal favorites of yours! <3

As for horse links, unfortunately, I use books and stuff more for that...and figured I'd suggest one if you don't mind it! An old friend of mine bought me "Drawing and Painting Horses" by Barbara Oelke, and I love the thing! There's a lot of nice studies of anatomy in there and closeups the head and hooves (both fore and hind), with both musculature and skeleton included, and if you don't have ready access to real horses, it's one of the next best things to have for a reference!

OH YES books are also great, though haha I have no shelf space (that, however, will never stop me from aquiring awesome books C:). I wish there were some great websites with photos of horses from different angles and closeups of various parts. I guess google and flickr will do the job though xD.
