art update with a side of Emo

Not much to update here, life is a bit frustrating ..but such is life. I am being emo this morning >_>..yay for me.




Model sheet for Patches..still have minor things to fix but thats the basic idea

painting for the kennel club, German pointer.

quick sketchu for Baggy of Jowana and Bagheera...I may attempt to paint this to try some new techniques in acrylic..

and Ive been needing to force myself to practice paws...so here are a few. Most of them are intentionally more feline..but I will do a set that is more humanish with feline traits (like the top left sketch).

That's all for now..now off to be emo for a while more before I convince myself to sleep..or fake something that resembles sleep.

Nice to see you still around and kicking! Your art work is so awesome! I love patches! He looks very urban camo if you will. You have such a wonderful talent for art!

So sorry to here that life is ruffling you fur! I know the feeling I am still laid off and having a bitch of a time finding another job. Right now for me life is a big brute of a butch woman who is wearing steel toed combat boots. She takes great joy in kicking me in the family jewels. Each time I start to recover and get my wind back she hauls back and plants the toe of her boot squarely in the middle of it all. Once again I am down moaning and groaning and gasping for air. But I just keep my chin up and push onward knowing that someday it will get better.

I will be keeping you in my prayers little friend! Also always remember if you ever need to chat with a friend my door is always open! Also if you get bored there you can come down anytime,my parents do not mind. I would love to show you around this place sometime. Bring your mate with ya too friend.

Arg, your stuff is so great. I so am running out of places to put stuff, but that fur, and the eyes, and the paws are so crazy awesome too. Once I have my tax return (slacker!) and have actually paid for fixing my bathtub (versus the estimate of cost) I may have to see about ninja-like slipping myself onto your commission list. Maybe just something digital instead, even, because then I don't have to worry about finding a place to hang it. . . . ;)

*offers hugs again* You should send the side of emo back. Most places don't get it right anyway. I'd suggest getting a side of cute or fluffy instead. Take care of yourself and don't let stuff get you down! And remember, LJ is for venting if you need to, even if it is in a post only you can see. ;) Don't bottle stuff up, you'll feel better. :)

Patches's character is very lovely! For some reason, I see a hint of your Madagascar style in him. I think it's the way the padding of the paws are drawn. He's kinda like a bit cute calico! XD Very lovely! :)

YES hands make me scream too..but I've decided I have no choice..I must learn..I need a mirror though so I can pose my hand in more ways..its an interesting way to learn. Also studying the skeletal structure of feline paw actually helps too *pouts and wants to have her anatomy books here and not 200 miles away at parent's house* fwah.

maybe in the future...but this is just my way to grasp at a more solidifed way to draw them instead of bouncing around all the time :). Feel free to use my studies though! I'm more than happy to share what I learn with others.

I'm sorry to hear about that but its nice to see, for the most part, that you are trying to keep in good spirits..and even going out of your way to bring cheer to others when you don't have much yourself *hugs the massive dragon* I will keep positive thoughts for you..sometimes its amazing what some positive thoughts will do to help lift us from a slump. Ha ha! My master plan is working. Teeth liquified so biting isn't possible if I get caught messing with your commission list . . . check. Besides, cute kitties can make just about anyone smile and feel better, and you sounded like you needed a smile. I have a directory of cute cat pictures at work that I take a moment and look at when I get stressed out or pissed off.

Bah, I contend that you don't owe me anything. :) Though I AM glad the pens and pencils are useful. You draw nifty stuff and then post it here where I can see it, and then I can drool like a fanboy . . . or a cat in a room full of rotisserie chickens . . . or just a sleeping cat ;). But drool in any case.

As for seeing me pulling the ninja slipping move, well, it wouldn't be much of a ninja slipping move if you saw it, now would it? ;P
