Sorry to quote what you wrote but I can really identify with that statement... That is really something that motivates my own humanoid/natural creature subject matter. Don't let anyone tell you what or what not to create. :) Draw your own creative vision, it's so important IMHO. Anyway these sketches are really nice! I especially like the second one from the top and the flutist, they have a lot of emotion. I really like the care that you've put into all of them though.
