General Update

balaa The last few days things have been looking up. My computer seems to have hiccuped only once..I'm not sure what the problem is...but every now and then I get an error on shut down or startup...something to do with a driver. I have a feeling it may be my tablet driver since I updated it.
Thank you to all the well wishes in my last journal entry and the many many GREAT music suggestions. I will definetly be hitting you guys up for some of those and looking into the others. The more music the merrier :). I feel thankful to be a part of such a warm community, thank you once again simply for being there! You wouldn't believe how big of a difference your friendly words and sharing laughs with me has helped.
I just finished reading Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire. Yes I am behind XD...I have only recently been assimilated into the Harry Potter craze @__@. I must say I actually enjoyed the book, starting into the fifth one. It's not what I would call a super intellectual read but it's definetly a story I am enjoying and plunging headlong into and for that I am grateful to JK Rowling. She gave the world a new place to visit, a place to perhaps escape our own lives for a little while and delve into a world of possibilities and dreams. Oh and we just bought tickets to see the midnight premiere of HP on the 18th O_O...itll be a nearly 2 hour drive but it's worth it...the trailers and clips Ive seen so far are AWESOME. XD
The water heater was replaced after much crap from the ever amiable *sarcasm* Sears people. We ended up not sleeping for nearly 48 hours straight because of that and other ever fun things that kept springing up. But at least its behind us, save for the bill of course...but money comes and goes...the holidays are nearing and we have happier things to think of.
I've been working on commissions this past night pretty steadily and took a little time to oc with Scully. I think I needed that..though I am sorry I was not very productive hun..nonetheless thanks for the company annnnddddd *HUG* since you got left out last time.
Ok I've yammered enough...
Black and White Lemur.. I LOVE their ears. I think I want to paint this fella here...just love the vibrant expression
and another. I do love Lemurs...I always love seeing them at the zoo..always end up having to get dragged off from watching them. I need to draw some marmosets too..HA! those guys are so cute I think I lost teeth when I saw them XD and I swear they were mocking us through the plexiglass.

Icons of Mid..he was kinda fun...must say I am not used to the colors but it was actually fun to work with the green hues XD...oh and added a seperate version with sparklies
And she was by far my favorite..something about the combination of colors really appealed to me...also did a variant with sparkles :).
I will be starting on the badges tomorrow night :).
To anyone who wants an icon I will open up 3 more slots as of now. Standard price is 10$ animated 7$ unanimated.
Animation can be more than just a standard blink, tell me what ya want and I can see about getting it done for ya!

OH and my badge from XianJaguar arrived yesterday I believe. She was right it is way more gorgeous in person. THANK YOU again Brenda..I will do something nicer than a plain sketch for you when I have a chance and a spare burst of inspiration. *HUGS* that made my day though :D! I will wear it proudly at FC.

The zoo which is the closest to me, also one of Sweden's most well-known, has a lot of lemurs ^^
I spent two whole weeks there in 8th grade in order to get some working practice, and I have to say, I really enjoyed it!
There, they have a great outside cage with lemurs, which are allowed to roam about as they want to. An even better thing is that one is allowed to enter the cage, walking among them, letting them explore one.
