Well as it turns out I think I will just have to reformat to get rid of the nasty trojans as when I fired it up today a ton of new ones sprung up probably somehow linked with the others. Maybe it's for the better, whole new year, whole new start...and perhaps without any terribly gigantic issues! At least I can back up my art and important files before I wipe the slate clean, and I am grateful for that.

Here are my simple resolutions for this new year:
1. Spend more time with those I love and care about (ie friends and family)
2. Meet more online friends in person and just go arting or share some stories and laughs together :)\
3. Paint more real media
4. Find more time to do gift art for all those that reach out and touch me
5. Hurt less and love more.

Happy New Year to each and every one of you. Find time to be thankful for what you have as opposed to what you don't have. Try to smile more than frown, give just to make someone's day a little brighter, and hug those you love a little more often!

For my friend trish, I'm sorry I missed your birthday. I love you beyond words my sister. I hope the grey clouds clear soon for you, but know this I will always ALWAYS walk with you in spirit..however far apart we may be.

Scanners

Hate two post two entries BUT I need help choosing/researching a new scanner. My current scanner is attached to my all in one printer and unfortunately I can't scan anything bigger than an 8.5 x 11" picture because of the lip on the scanner. If I try to scan anything bigger than that it blurs the picture because it doesn't sit flush with the glass. I have heard many artists scan their art in pieces and just collage it together in photoshop, unfortunately I just can't do that with this scanner..I have tried and tried. I have started to look at scanners but haven't really found one that a. would work for piecing together larger prints or b. I can actually hope to afford in the forseable future.

SO if anyone uses or has heard of good scanners in an affordable pricerange..I would sincerely appreciate any advice.

Thank you all in advance!
