Balaa Redesign

Meh since seeing Madagascar I decided to move away from the cutesey style of drawing Balaa and go to something more fun and in a distant manner reminiscent of Madagascar. The reason is simply..I want Balaa to reflect more of who I am. I am not exactly the cute and cuddly kind, but rather one of those crazy hyper caffeinated happy go lucky people. I like to crawl under cars and get greasy, I like to play tackle football..drive fast...I just like having fun in short. So I honestly want Balaa to reflect this. Who knows where her design will go in the future, but for now and with as much wo9rk as I have, I want drawing Balaa to be my therapy, something that will help relieve stress and just plain be fun. Hope you guys like her too!

Also in some of my past sketches I am not sure if Balaa's ear tassles stood out enough..but in this new style they definetly stand out. That has been her trademark from the start XD..so I want it to stand out.

In other news. I bought the Madagascar soundtrack while I was at Best Buy yesterday. OMG most of it sucks. The only song REAALLLY worth the 13$ bucks was...YOU GUEESSSED it "I like to move it MOVE it" I totally am in love with it. I so could put that on an endless loop and just listen to it all day. Julius you freakin rock my socks! XD!
