All those reasons that you listed reminds me of my and my cousin. :) We're quite different on many levels. She's more liberal in thinking, where as I'm more conservative. She tends to have different views on religion and morality than I do. She's messier in her housekeeping where as I...oh wait. Nevermind. We're exactly the same on that issue. XD lol.
Anyway, even though we have a lot of differences, we're still best friends. :) Of course, we do share many commonalities as well. Such as, loving board games, nature walks, Peeps marshmallows (for sure!), etc.
What's really sad to see are people who believe that someone can ONLY be their friend if they share exactly everything in common. I've seen these sort of people before...and I can only assume they probably don't have too many friends. ;)
